Can roaches live without a head?It may seem crazy, but yes... they can. A cockroach body can actually survive without a head for up to a week!
A cockroach breaths through small holes in its body segment and has an open circulatory system. What that means is that it doesn't need its head to breath. But without a head, it cannot drink water and it will eventually die from dehydration. |
Am I safe from roaches if my house is always clean?Unfortunately, no. Cockroaches may enter your clean home depending on the ease of access to water and food.
